WET SCRUBBERS

Wet scrubbers are air pollution control devices used to remove pollutants from industrial exhaust streams. They work by passing the polluted gas through a liquid solution, typically water, where the pollutants are absorbed or chemically reacted with the liquid. The contaminated liquid is then collected and treated separately, while the cleaned gas is released into the atmosphere. Wet scrubbers are effective in removing a wide range of pollutants, including particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and volatile organic compounds. They are commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, metal refining, and power generation to meet environmental regulations and improve air quality.
